FPGA Engineer essential requirements
At least 2 years development experience with FPGAs
Competency with Verilog/VHDL
Eligible to obtain security clearance (resident in the UK for 5 years)
FPGA Engineer desirable skills
Applying digital design knowledge and principles to architect systems
Xilinx, Altera, Lattice, or Microsemi devices and toolchains
FPGA timing constraint application and closure
Hands-on integration and debug of FPGA-based systems
Digital simulation such as Modelsim, Questa, or FGPA vendor simulation tools
In-circuit analysis using FPGA based logic analyzer tools
Embedded processor and System on a Chip development of FPGA devices
Encryption/decryption standards such as AES or RSA
Knowledge of FPGA and board-level security and anti-tamper techniques
Industry standard interfaces and protocols such as AXI, PCIe, GigE, SPI, I2C
